Founded
by Ernesto Plotini in Milan in 1937, it has always dealt with ephemeral
architecture, realizing the projects of the masters of Italian architecture
such as Albini, Helg, Carboni, Belgioioso, Nizzoli, Peressuti and Rogers.
Plotini, has carried out the projects of Gregotti, Cerri, Cecchi, Ferrari,
Pestalozza, Noorda, Castiglioni, Lupi and many others.
Exhibitions, stands and
furnishings created by the company have always been based on a careful and
meticulous search for quality and a high level of customer service.
The
experience gained by the company's technical staff allowed, at the beginning of
the 90s, to design a successful series of modular systems in aluminum and wood
for fittings and furnishings called Crossmetal.
Originality and versatility of
use have favored its diffusion not only towards the traditional clientele of
exhibitors but also towards many fitting companies that have adopted them.
Since the mid-2000s, under the direction of Matteo Plotini,
the Company has continued both in collaboration with major firms (among others
Giulio Cappellini, Michele De Lucchi, Calvi Brambilla, Ferruccio Laciani, Piero
Lissoni ...) and in the systems and technology development.
